Mr. Ly - 5th Grade STEM -- Short Biography

I grew up in Michigan most of my life. I graduated from Dwight D. Eisenhower High School in Shelby Twp., MI. My family moved down to Georgia in 2005 to run a Salvage Yard business. At the time, I was really into cars and enjoyed being a mechanic. Throughout my years in high school and college, I've tutored other students and fell in love with the ability to help others understand concepts and things they would find impossible to understand. I graduated from Clayton State University with a Bachelor's of Art in Middle Grades Education in 2012. I concentrated in Science and Math.

My interests and passion has always been science, technology, and teaching. Therefore, I'm excited to be in a place were all three things can come together. I look forward to teaching and influencing students to become more knowledgeable, skillful, and innovative in their paths towards the future.

Ms. Beram- 5th Grade Humanities

I absolutely love teaching Humanities. My subjects include English, Language Arts, and Social Studies.  I graduated from the University of South Carolina (go Gamecocks) in 2009 with a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education. This is my sixth year teaching.  I hope to teach for a very long time and then eventually work towards becoming an administrator. =)

I believe every child regardless of their background can reach their highest potential with the support of their teachers, parents, and the community.  I work towards building citizen scholars by upholding high expectations and providing a nurturing environment that leads my students towards success.
